Climate tech is an emerging area of technology focused on addressing the challenges posed by climate change. It involves the use of innovative technologies to develop solutions that have a positive impact on the environment. These deep technologies include digital innovation technologies like data science, machine learning and blockchain, but also advances in chemistry (for example for carbon capture), manufacturing and engineering.

The typical solutions range from predictive analytics and smart automation systems to automated monitoring solutions and control systems. Climate tech also leverages cutting-edge research in areas such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, ocean sciences, and carbon capture to help mitigate climate change and its effects.

At the Center for Deep Tech Innovation, our core focus is on trustworthiness in distributed decarbonization process and carbon capture technologies. We strive to enable organizations to deliver cost-effective, reliable and safe solutions that address the full range of challenges posed by the current climate crisis.

Our team of experts is well-versed in a wide range of technologies, from blockchain and cryptography to nanotechnologies and digital twins, that can be leveraged to create robust systems for monitoring and controlling flows related to carbon capture and utilization. Additionally, we are exploring how AI-driven analytics techniques can expedite the development of efficient processes for transforming renewable energy into useful forms. In this way, we aim to foster greater trust in distributed decarbonization processes throughout the world.
